The town of Stresa has an ancient story. It is a cultural place with many spectacular buildings, gardens and beautiful surroundings. A chain of larger hotels are fronting the boardwalk and there is a wide range of cafes, restaurants and bars, spreed over the town. Every friday morning there is a local market and you will also find a variety of shopping in the area. From the trainstation there is a connection to Milan every hour and the trip takes around sixty minutes. The population is close to 5000.
